We bought a 2016 Colorado from Mike's. We live out of town and Randy was kind enough to work around our schedule. Randy was great to deal with. Put us at ease through the buying experience. Truck was fairly priced and we've been driving it for several weeks with no issues. They continue to communicate with us on an open issue which I greatly appreciate. I would highly recommend doing business with Mike's. I would buy another vehicle from them.

At the time of purchase I was told that the air conditioner needed to be charged and that they would take care of it for us, thought it was just a sales pitch but they actually made good on it and charged it for me a couple of weeks after I bought it, at no cost as promised.

Great car buying experience here at Mikes Auto Center! All in one day we were able to test drive and purchase our new used car. Great staff and fast service. They want to do good by you the customer. The day after we purchased our car we noticed a headlight out on the vehicle. We were unsure if it was like that when we purchased it or if it blew while driving around that 1st night, but they got me in that very same day within hours and they replaced the bulb for us free of charge. Over yesterday and today I experienced quite unparalleled auto repair service from Mike’s Auto Center in Lexington, Ohio (Just W. off i-71 @ the Bellville/Lexington Exit). In a world of auto repair scams, rip-offs and as often as not just plain old poor service, … my “damsel-in-distress” experience on i-71 and my car’s subsequent repair work done at Mike’s Auto Service, has motivated me to write the most glowing recommendation possible! It began with a call to Mike’s Auto Service, extension #2, picked up by the service manager, – So my 2001 car broke down as I traveled alone on i-71 to visit my aged mother. A call to my husband @ home for help resulted in him contacting Mike’s Auto, – who ended up giving him the bad news… and then the good news. The bad news was that Mike’s Auto was scheduled out for a full week and could not take us until the following week. But, when my husband explained my stranded status, and that the tow truck was in-bound at that moment, the mgr said he’d call Mike, the owner, for guidance. That produced the first good news… Mike said to make room for my car. Unfortunately, the tow truck arrived quite late, and got my car to the garage minutes before closing time. Thankfully, they agreed to wait around until the car was towed in, but then informed me that I’d unfortunately have to wait until the next day for repairs to begin). He then arranged for me to be taken to the wonderfully managed Bellville Quality Inn to stay overnight, and then picked up again the next day when my car was repaired … at NO extra cost! The next morning, they sent someone to come and collect me at the hotel, and I was shuttled back to pick up the car. And… although knowing I was a prime target for price-gouging, I discovered to my pleasant surprise that the cost of repair (installation of a new alternator, with a life-time warranty to boot) was very, very reasonably priced! And on top of that… they were totally honest and told me that the serpentine belt was fine and did not need replacement! This was a further shock because my husband had already called them and authorized them to go ahead and replace the serpentine belt, as well, when they replaced the alternator! Double-shock! In conclusion, I want to highly recommend Mike’s Auto Center to anyone in need of auto repair service – local or traveling. Thank you, Mike, for making a command decision to fit me in your super-busy repair schedule. Not only are you a successful business man, but you are also a man of compassion. Secondly, thank you to the service technician – whose name I do not know – who did honest and excellent repair work. And finally, a special thanks to everyone who works there, for "going beyond the call of duty." You exemplified superior leadership and people skills, and I also admired the high level of organizational expertise you demonstrated in managing the service department. Thank you all, again. I bought a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 HD from Mike a little over a month ago. Driving to work one day the transmission fluid line ruptured from rust, my usual mechanic said. I didn't know it as it sprayed fluid out and I in turn drove to work with less then required transmission fluid which was gone by the time I got there. As I was about 2 miles from work my RPMS jumped to 3200 at 30 mph then max speed of 15 mph after stopping at a red light. I didn't know this but I had fried my transmission. The warranty people refused to cover it saying that I should have stopped as soon as I noticed the RPMs jump. I was less than 2 miles from work folks. I was pissed. Mike was so cool when I talked to him. He found me a perfectly rebuilt 2500 HD matching transmission with a 3 yr, unlimited mileage warranty, THAT DAY, at a good price. Folks he is installing it for FREE!!! He is also fixing the rupture in the fluid line for FREE!!! He and his buddy brought a tow truck an hour and a half EACH WAY to pick up the truck for me for FREE way down in South East Ohio!!! This man takes care of his customers folks. He knew I was very upset and jumped in to fix the problem to do what ever he could immediately. I have never seen this level of care for a customer. I'm floored. Thank you Mike. You have a very happy customer. Also the company that provided the tow was Laurence's Towing in Mansfield. They were very professional in securing my truck and maneuvered very well in the parking area and street. Even the mechanics commented on how well he got my truck out. Thank you sir.
